    The New Zealand men have beaten France 4-3 in the penalty shootout on their Nations Cup hockey final in Poland after drawing 1-all in regulation


    Chile have beaten the Black Sticks women 2-1 in the third and fourth placed play-off in Spain.

    32-year-old midfielder Sam Child has retired afterwards.

    She earned 277 caps - the third-most for the Black Sticks women.

    Child played at three Olympics and earned a 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medal.
