Women's Black Sticks to familiarise themselves with World Cup opponents in this weekend's Tri Nations hockey tournament in Cromwell

The women's Black Sticks will familiarise themselves with some of their World Cup opponents in this weekend's Tri Nations hockey tournament in Cromwell

Both Japan and Australia will be in the Kiwi's pool for the upcoming World Cup in England in July.

Coach Sean Dancer says everyone will be trying to hide some of their weapons ahead of the Cup, but it's good preparation nonetheless.

The Black Sticks face Japan in their tournament opener today.

    Centre pass is at 4:30pm.
