    The Commonwealth Games champion women's Black Sticks have been swept by their trans-Tasman rivals


    The Hockeyroos have beaten New Zealand 4-1 in the final of the tri-nations tournament in Cromwell, after three goal victories in pool play.

    Stand-in Black Sticks captain Ella Gunson says they have a lot of work to do before they meet Australia in pool play at the world cup in late July.

    Gunson says the world cup was in the back of their minds and they didn't want to give too much away.
