Edmonton Oilers cap improbable run to ice hockey's Stanley Cup Finals

The Edmonton Oilers have capped an improbable run to ice hockey's Stanley Cup Finals by beating the Dallas Stars 2-1 to wrap up the western conference

The Oilers have won the conference in six games and will play for the Cup for the first time since 2006.

Edmonton are just the third team in NHL history to make the final after being 10 points or more out of a playoff spot and sacked their head coach early in the season in November.
