The Black Sticks women have shown their mettle to overcome Korea 5-4 in their hockey Nations Cup tournament opener in Chile

New Zealand scored the last three goals after falling 4-2 down in the third quarter.

Holly Pearson gave the Black Sticks their first lead of the match from a penalty stroke with three minutes to play.

Forward Hannah Cotter was quick to deflect any individual praise as the player of the match.

The Black Sticks have group matches to come against Ireland and Scotland.
