    The Springboks' rugby World Cup triumph has earned them a gong at the Laureus World Sports Awards


    South Africa's picked up the team of the year trophy after beating England in the final, in what's their third World Cup victory.

    Lionel Messi's become the first footballer to receive the sportsman gong, alongside Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton.

    Gymnast Simone Biles has been named sportswoman of the year.
