Mataele helped the amber and blacks lift the log o' wood off Canterbury in 2017 after snatching a Richie Mo'unga chip kick out of the air and scoring a runaway try.
Kick off's at 4:35pm.
Waikato and North Harbour kick-starts the triple header at 2:05pm, with Southland off to Bay of Plenty at 7:05pm.
