    The Crusaders will go to market for an outside back after Will Jordan's shoulder surgery ruled him out of Super Rugby Pacific for 2024


    The All Blacks outside back's absence is compounded by the chest muscle injury suffered by Welsh international Leigh Halfpenny.

    Chay Fihaki's the only fit recognised fullback left in the squad - he's expected to get first crack at 15 against the Chiefs on Friday night.

    The Crusaders brought in former All Black John Afoa last year to help cover the side's depleted prop stocks.
