Japanese rugby club Mie Pearls are stunned they've landed Black Ferns 7s juggernaut Portia Woodman-Wickcliffe, saying it's a great honour to sign the double Olympic champion

Pearls coach Janna Vaughan - who played rugby and league for New Zealand - says they're the luckiest club in the world.

Portia and her wife Renee Woodman-Wickliffe, who has signed on as an assistant coach, will head to Japan in late October and return in early February.
