Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge believes changing New Zealand Rugby's eligibility laws could impact the game locally

Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge believes changing New Zealand Rugby's eligibility laws could impact the game locally

The rules came under the spotlight after NZR's failed bid to get Richie Mo'unga out of his Toshiba contract in Japan.

The only thing stopping Mo'unga from playing for the All Blacks is NZR's own eligibility rules, but Mansbridge doesn't believe it's worth making an exception to the rule.

Consequences like a mass exodus or youngsters playing different sports because the rugby pathway is too congested.
