The All Blacks captain is poised to mix it with the best of the Heartland this weekend

Sam Cane - out of rugby since March with pectoral and shoulder surgery - is fit to return this week ahead of joining the All Blacks for the northern tour.

However, complicating matters is Cane's province Bay of Plenty were due to play Counties this week in the NPC - a match now postponed due to Covid.

So, coach Ian Foster says they're looking to find a willing Heartland Championship union to take him on.
