    Ethan Blackadder's clinging on to hope he can get through a full rugby season without a stint on the sidelines


    The 14-test All Black will captain the Crusaders in their preseason hit-out against the Blues in Kirwee tomorrow afternoon.

    Blackadder didn't join the All Blacks on their end of year tour due to a calf injury.

    He's outlined his ambition for 2025.



    Blackadder missed six months of rugby in 2022 due to shoulder surgery, and played 10 of a potential 31 games for the Crusaders over the last two seasons.
