    Former Wales wing Louis Rees-Zammit has pulled the plug on his American football dream and is returning to rugby union


    The 24-year-old quit rugby at the start of last year to try his hand at the NFL ... and while he made pre-season appearances and is on the roster of the Jacksonville Jaguars, he has not played a competitive game.

    He had played 32 tests since his debut in 2020, scoring 14 tries and a nomination for World Rugby breakthrough player of the year in 2021.

    Rees-Zammit says it's been a great experience in the NFL but it's time to come home.
