Professional darts are back on kiwi shores, with the World Series underway in Auckland's Spark Arena

Professional darts are back on kiwi shores, with the World Series underway in Auckland's Spark Arena

Tonight's set to break the record for New Zealand's biggest crowd at a darts match - with more than 5 thousand fans pouring into the arena.

World number one Luke Humphries and teenage sensation Luke Littler are both taking to the stage.

Professional Darts Corporation CEO Matthew Porter says both staff and players want to connect with their communities across the world.

His aim is to get people who have never engaged with darts before to leave with a positive impression of the sport.
