Kimiora Poi hopes the chance to partner with Kate Heffernan in the midcourt could set her up for a return to the Silver Ferns

Kimiora Poi hopes the chance to partner with Kate Heffernan in the midcourt could set her up for a return to the Silver Ferns

After seven years in Christchurch, the ten-test international's shifting from the Mainland Tactix to the Southern Steel in netball's ANZ Premiership.

Poi hasn't played for New Zealand since 2022, and says Heffernan is a major drawcard to Invercargill.

Poi's been selected for the Silver Ferns trial camp in Wellington next week.
