    England have clinched the Taini Jamison Trophy netball series opener, with a thrilling 59-58 win over the Silver Ferns in Auckland


    The Black Caps have suffered a fourth consecutive test loss, after an innings and 154-run defeat by Sri Lanka in their second match in Galle .



    The America's Cup challenger series is level at 2-all at Barcelona after Luna Rossa won the second race of the day over INEOS Britannia, having been handed a pre-race disqualification in the day's first race.



    Golfers Sam Jones and Daniel Hillier have finished tied for 45th and 65th respectively at the European Tour's Spanish Open.
