    Kiwi driver Shane van Gisbergen is up to 19th at the midway point of the 200-lap NASCAR Xfinity series race in Phoenix, after starting 23rd on the grid


    The three Kiwis racing in Indycar have had fair-to-middling results in qualifying for tomorrow's season opener in St Petersburg, Florida.

    Scott McLaughlin and Marcus Armstrong will start beside each other in 9th and 10th on the grid, with Scott Dixon tucked in behind them in 11th.
