Motor racing royalty Sir Scott Dixon has suffered another blow ahead of tomorrow's opening IndyCar race in Florida

Motor racing royalty Sir Scott Dixon has suffered another blow ahead of tomorrow's opening IndyCar race in Florida

A day after a nasty head-on collision with a concrete barrier, Dixon has failed to make the second round of qualifying for the St Petersburg street race.

Dixon told Sky Sport his rear end had no grip.

Scott McLaughlin will start on pole.

Shane van Gisbergen won the second division NASCAR race at the Circuit of the Americas ahead of tomorrow morning's Cup race.
