    Mikaela Shiffrin has claimed an 81st career World Cup skiing triumph in a Zagreb slalom to move within one of the women's all-time victory record held by fellow American Lindsey Vonn


    The 27-year-old triumphed for the fifth time in a row and seventh time overall this season.

    She can match Vonn's mark in another slalom tomorrow.

    Swedish men's slalom great Ingemar Stenmark has the overall record with 86 wins.
