    Matthew Ridenton knows he has his work cut out to break into the Wellington Phoenix starting XI


    The All Whites midfielder is back for a second stint at the A-League club, having played 72 times in his previous 5-year stay in the capital.

    Ridenton says competition for places in the Phoenix's midfield is tough.
