An injury blow for the Wellington Phoenix

An injury blow for the Wellington Phoenix

Forward Stevan Colakovski will miss the rest of the A-League men's season after rupturing his left anterior cruciate ligament at training.

The injury requires surgery, meaning Colakovski faces up to 12 months out of football.

The Australian joined the Phoenix on a one-year deal in October, and has featured in the club's past six matches as a substitute.

Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano says the club wishes Colakovski all the best for his rehab.
