Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano believes the Christmas break couldn't have come at a better time for his team

Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano believes the Christmas break couldn't have come at a better time for his team

After a fast start to the season the Nix have lost three consecutive A-League matches heading into this afternoon's home clash against the Newcastle Jets.

Italiano says time at home with families over the Festive Season has done wonders for his squad, who are desperate for a form reversal.

Kick-off in Wellington is at five o'clock.
