A pre-season blow for English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur

A pre-season blow for English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur

Captain Son Heung-min has announced his desire to leave the club in a press conference ahead of Spurs' friendly against Newcastle United in his home country of South Korea.

The 33-year-old is reportedly set to join US Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC, after a decade in north London.

Son's reign culminated in lifting the Europa League trophy after Tottenham defeated Manchester United in the final in Bilbao, Spain in May.
