Liverpool have widened the gap atop the Premier League standings after a 3-1 win over Leicester City at Anfield

Liverpool have widened the gap atop the Premier League standings after a 3-1 win over Leicester City at Anfield

The hosts found themselves down a goal after six minutes, but equalised on the stroke of halftime.

Two second-half goals would seal the win for the league leaders, who are now seven points ahead of Chelsea on the table.

Winger Mo Salah - who scored his 16th Premier League goal of the season - says Leicester City made them earn the win, on Sky Sport.

Elsewhere, Manchester United lost 2-nil to Wolves, Manchester City were held to a 1-all draw with Everton and Chris Wood's Nottingham Forest edged Tottenham 1-nil to move to third on the table.
