All Whites captain Chris Wood has commended Tahiti for making them earn their 3-nil victory in their World Cup qualifier in Vanuatu

All Whites captain Chris Wood has commended Tahiti for making them earn their 3-nil victory in their World Cup qualifier in Vanuatu

New Zealand struck in the opening two minutes through midfielder Eli Just, leading their opponents to retreat into a defensive block for most of the contest.

Goals would later come in the 67th minute to Wood and in the 89th through Ben Waine.

Wood says Tahiti didn't make their win easy.
