    Residents in parts of Canterbury are waking to a clean up job, after a night of wild weather


    State Highway 75 is closed between Birdlings Flat and Little River due to flooding, while residents in Halswell and Prebbleton, have shared videos of water covered roads and hazardous driving conditions.

    Fire crews have been called to downed trees and power lines - though most power outages have been restored.
