A renewable electricity expert says electric vehicle chargers are still needed to boost uptake of evs

The Government's announced a loan scheme, offering interest free cash for chargers to be built around the country - in an attempt to meet its ambitious 10-thousand charger target by 2030.

ChargeNet Board Member Stephen England-Hall says while many charge their evs at home, roadside chargers still play an important role.

He says more chargers are needed to support the growth in number of EVs on the roads.
