Liam Gallagher has appeared to confirm Oasis will continue their comeback with more shows next year.

The 52-year-old singer teased fans about the prospect of more shows in 2026 as the band wrapped up its two sold-out performance at Wembley Stadium at the weekend.

The group, who reunited in 2024 after a 16-year split, closed their highly anticipated run of reunion concerts at Wembley on Saturday (27.09.25) with Champagne Supernova and before starting the song, Liam turned to the audience and addressed them directly.

He said: "I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f****** map. Champagne Supernova."

Liam then sent fans at the stadium and online into a frenzy by adding: See you next year!"

The remark sent the crowd into cheers and set off widespread speculation on social media the Gallagher brothers are preparing a global tour.

According to reports, major offers are already being considered, including four shows at Knebworth House to mark the 30th anniversary of the band's landmark 1996 concerts, which drew more than 250,000 fans.

A source told the Sun: "The demand is off the scale. There's serious talk of not just a tour, but a run of record-breaking shows.

"Promoters know Oasis can shift tickets like no other band, and the money on offer is staggering."

Industry insiders have also suggested potential dates at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and headline appearances at international festivals including Coachella in the United States and Benicàssim in Spain. Fans have additionally speculated about a long-awaited return to Glastonbury, where Oasis have not performed for decades.

The possibility of further touring comes after months of denials from both Liam and Noel Gallagher, 58, who had insisted their reunion would not extend beyond 2025.

The band's comeback concerts sold out within minutes, drawing multi-generational audiences and reviving one of Britain's most enduring musical rivalries.

Reactions from fans after the Wembley show reflected the excitement.

One wrote on social media: "Liam saying 'see you next year' - that's it, Oasis are back for real. Biggest tour ever incoming."

Another added: "If they do Knebworth again, I'm selling my car for tickets. No way I'm missing this."

If confirmed, new Oasis shows would follow their record-breaking past performances - and could rival Robbie Williams, 50, whose three-night run at Knebworth in 2003 remains among the biggest in UK history.
