Concerns from drug testing organisations over extra high-dose MDMA pills

The Drug Foundation's Sarah Helm says the stimulant's normally at the lower end of harm, but it's unlawful and unregulated, so the contents can vary dangerously.

She says about 20-percent of pills she sees, aren't what people thought they'd purchased.

Helm says the main issue is risky potency, with more than half of MDMA coming through at twice the normal dose.
