Lily Collins wants to celebrate "individuality" after joining Zalando as its first global brand ambassador

The Emily In Paris actress is set to front two major campaigns for the brand this year, starting with the upcoming spring 2026 campaign, alongside other activations and editorial content.

In a statement, she told WWD: "For me, fashion represents much more than just clothing: It's a way of expressing who I am at a given moment.

"I appreciate that my partnership with Zalando is rooted in this everyday question: 'What do I wear?'

"Far beyond major red-carpet occasions, it's about feeling like yourself on a daily basis. "As Zalando's first global ambassador, I look forward to exploring themes of individuality and self-confidence, and celebrating the diversity of styles across Europe."

Zalando has praised Lily's "authentic" connection to fashion culture across Europe, having lived and worked everywhere from London's West End to Paris and Italy.

James Rothwell, Zalando's senior vice president of marketing, said: "[Lily] embodies confidence and creativity, and demonstrates a natural, instinctive flair for fashion.

"The aim of this year-long partnership is to celebrate our clothing choices every day, while reaffirming Zalando's role as a trusted style adviser for our customers - from small everyday moments to the major life events."

Lily previously opened up about how she gets involved with the styling process when she plays Emily Cooper in Netflix hit Emily In Paris, which recently returned for its fifth season in December 2025, with a sixth on the way.

Speaking around the fourth run in 2024 at Emily in Paris: The Magic Behind the Scenes panel at the Paley Museum in New York City, she said: "Every season starts with two days of eight-hour fittings.

"So I have 16 hours of fittings - a record-breaking 81 looks in those two days this year.

"And some are commissioned, some are vintage, some are from collections of a time-gone-by, some are unknown designers that (Fitoussi) found in her DMs, some are well-known designers. The list goes on and on."

Meanwhile, Lily has confessed to having a fondness for one on-screen outfit in particular.

The brunette beauty - who plays the part of Emily, an American marketing ex ecutive, on the show - told PEOPLE: "I think there's an outfit in the two episodes at the end, which was a vintage Alaia skirt and a white collared shirt with flats and a little scarf.

"It felt, to me, like a real departure for Emily, and more Italian, more holiday vacation vibes, and more practical running around with flats. It just felt cinematic."
