Frustration as the Government doesn't put its foot down on asking petrol companies to display premium petrol prices

The Government's acting on Commerce Commission recommendations to make prices more reasonable.

Z energy CEO Mike Bennetts says his company complied when Minister Kris Faafoi asked retailers to get on with it - in December.

But he says the Cabinet paper previewed today gives retailers another 18 months .... after the law comes into force.

He says it's disappointing to see other retailers have more time to put up their signs... which is an expensive task.
