    A 27-year-old man will appear in court today over an attack on an older man in Hastings


    Police were called to the incident near King Street yesterday morning about 11am.

    The victim who's in his 70's was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

    The man allegedly responsible was found shortly after and arrested.

    He'll appear in the Hastings District Court today facing three charges related to the incident.
