A Dunedin teacher sent one of her children a large sum of money, soon after stabbing her husband to death in the bath

The Otago Daily Times reports 62-year-old Carole Coade transferred 45-thousand dollars.

It landed two minutes after she'd sent a Facebook message saying, "I love you, I'm sorry for what I have done."

Coade killed her 58-year-old filmmaker husband, Mark Henry Willis, at their Tainui home last May.

She has been sent to jail for at least 11 years.
