    Concerns mental and physical health is at risk without hormone replacement therapy


    A new survey of almost 2300 women and a small number of other HRT users, was run in response to HRT patch shortages.

    It shows 85 percent had a decrease in emotional wellbeing, and 65 percent a drop in physical wellbeing.

    Survey developer Dr Samantha Newman says difficulty accessing prescriptions is also taking a toll.

    She says some people have had to try several pharmacy's and in some cases travel around the country.
