    New Stats NZ data to last year shows declining trust in key institutions


    Police scored highest at seven-point-four out of 10 in 2023, but that's a fall from seven-point-seven, in 2021.

    Media ranked lowest - at four-point-three out of 10 - and Parliament had the biggest decrease, sliding from five-point-seven - to four-point-nine.
