    A search continues for a missing person after a crash near Opotiki in Bay of Plenty

    A search continues for a missing person after a crash near Opotiki in Bay of Plenty


    Emergency services were alerted before 10:30, when a vehicle went down a bank and entered the Waioeka River.

    Two people were initially reported missing -- one has been recovered and taken to Whakatane Hospital with moderate injuries.

    Another person is also in hospital with moderate injuries.
