Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn't want her daughter to go into showbiz just yet

The 45-year-old actress has Autumn, 10, Atticus, nine as well as three-year-old Adan with her husband Brian Hallisay and even though her eldest recently appeared in an episode of '9-1-1 ', she has admitted that she wants her to stay in school before fully pursuing a career in entertainment

She told E! News: "Our big thing with her is, even though my experience as a kid actor was very positive, I think we've both sort of said, 'Stay in school, do that. Grow up. Wait until you're a little bit older. Don't take all of this on quite yet.'"

The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer ' actress started her career as a child herself and appeared in numerous commercials before becoming a part of her teenage years but admitted that things have changed so much since then that she would rather her daughter just enjoy her youth while she can rather than going straight into anything.

She added: "It's a different business than when I started. It's not quite as simple and easy with social media and all of that stuff now. Our hope for her is that she'll just be a kid."

Autumn will also appear alongside her parents in the upcoming Christmas movie 'The Holiday Junkie' but her father insisted in the joint interview that he would rather she completed her education for now.

He said: "I am a proponent of Autumn going to school and sort of growing up and figuring out who she is before she does all that as a kid. Because if it's something that you want to do, you have to work hard at it and it's not easy."
