Murder victim Arthur Easton's children are speaking out for the first time -- nearly four decades after his death

Murder victim Arthur Easton's children are speaking out for the first time -- nearly four decades after his death

Easton was fatally stabbed in his Grove Road home in Auckland in 1985, following an altercation after a male intruder entered his home and was confronted by his sons.

Last year, the Government agreed to pay Alan Hall five-million-dollars after he was wrongfully convicted of the killing.

Police launched a 100-thousand dollar reward in October for information that leads to an arrest - in place until January 24.

Arthur Easton's son Patrick says whoever came into the home that night doesn't deserve to be protected.

He says his Dad didn't deserve to die in the way he did.
