The former World Rugby player of the year will inject his significant presence into Moana Pasifika next season - after ending a long tenure with the Hurricanes.

Moana Pasifika coach Tana Umaga says it was great to have a second Savea on deck at their new training base at North Harbour Stadium.

Savea's older brother and former All Blacks wing Julian is already part of the Moana squad.
