Chloe Bailey feels like "more of a boss" since becoming an aunt

The 26-year-old singer - who is the older sister of 'Little Mermaid' star Halle Bailey - became an aunt for the first time when her sibling gave birth to Halo in December 2023 with her now ex-partner DDG and she has credited her nephew with allowing her to change her attitude towards herself

She told People: "I have to give credit to Halo, because I feel like he's helping me tap into my rich auntie era.

"I definitely feel like I'm allowing myself to feel more of a boss and not take everything so seriously, and I have to give credit to him."

When Halle and DDG split up in October after three years together, the rapper noted that he and his ex intended to "co-parent" their son going forward as he asked fans to respect their "understanding and support" during that time.

He wrote on Instagram at the time: "As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co- parents, we cherish the bond we've built and the beautiful moments we've shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.

"Thank you for your love and encouragement. - DDG."

Halle doesn't often comment on her private life and had even given birth several weeks before she actually revealed it to the world.

At the time, she explained: "There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone. Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that."
