A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting outside Auckland's Middlemore Hospital

Police have been investigating since a firearm was allegedly fired at the Hospital from a vehicle on January 4 - no one was injured.

An altercation allegedly occurred in the car park beforehand.

A 34-year-old man will appear in the Manukau District Court today - further arrests haven't been ruled out.
