Five people have been arrested at a Wellington property, after a person was reportedly threatened with a firearm

Five people have been arrested at a Wellington property, after a person was reportedly threatened with a firearm

Officers were sent to the Makara home just before 2 this afternoon, and cordons were put in place on Makara Road.

Police say three people were arrested as they left the property in a vehicle and two others fled on foot before being caught.

Police are still working to establish what happened, but it seems those involved know each other.

Nobody was injured, and so far no charges have been laid.
