Brittany Cartwright is "finally finding her voice" amid her divorce from Jax Taylor

The 36-year-old reality star split from Jax, 45, in 2024 after five years of marriage and just ahead of the launch of the second season of 'The Valley', she admitted that she is going from "strength to strength" within herself as she adjusts to single life

She told US TV show 'Extra': "Lots of ups and downs, but at the same time, I feel like it was time to move on and I feel like a lot of people are going to see a lot of strength and growth from me. I'm excited about that 'cause it's going to be a different version of myself that people are used to and after 10 years of being on TV and doing this reality stuff, I feel like I'm finally finding my voice."

Brittany has three-year-old son Cruz with her 'Vanderpump Rules' co-star and insisted that he is her motivation to "stay strong" throughout the whole process of the divorce.

She said: "It's just been so much, but also like having my son and he's, like, really my driving force to like make me stay strong and on point."

In February, Jax admitted that he admitted that he has been dealing with "substance issues - primarily with cocaine" in recent times, Brittany claimed that she had "tried desperately to help him" throughout their time together.

She told People: "I'm glad that he finally admitted to what was really going on."

"For the first time, I can speak openly about the extent of trauma he's instilled on our family over the years.

"I've tried desperately to help him without success. I pray that one day he completely knocks this addiction, but I'm skeptical. His behaviors are still alarming and his treatment plan seems to be the bare minimum."
