    The Prime Minister says changing the Resource Management Act will unlock growth


    Cabinet has agreed to a blueprint for new planning laws - and will scrap the RMA.

    Chris Luxon says busybodies have weaponised the system and lawyers and consultants have made drafting reports a cottage industry.

    He says it's had a major effect on building anything - designed to block new roads, housing, wind farms and rural projects.
