Kerry Katona was forced to cancel a planned breast enhancement surgery over safety concerns

The former Atomic Kitten star had been due to go under the knife shortly after returning from a break in Thailand but her doctors didn't allow her to go through with the operation amid concerns it was too soon for surgery after a long-haul flight

In her column for OK! magazine, she explained: "I headed to get my boob job the other day and ended up not being able to get it done, I didn't realise that you can't get surgery after flying and I had just returned from Thailand.

"It's a shame, but I'm glad Pall Mall Cosmetics - where I was booked in - take safety so seriously and put regulations above the procedure."

Kerry admitted she was not able to rebook the surgery because she's got another holiday booked - and her daughters urged her to skip the operation and enjoy her time abroad instead.

Kerry added: "I could have rebooked it, but I'm going back to Thailand next week so I would have had to cancel my trip and the kids told me to just leave it for now.

"[Daughters] Molly, Lilly and Heidi all said: 'Go to Thailand, don't get your boobs done!'

"I think they just don't want me getting any more surgery! I'm going to leave it until summer when I'm less busy."

Kerry has been spending more time in Thailand recently as she plans to run her own wellness retreats there and eventually move to the country full-time.

In her column for new! magazine, she explained: "I'm now working on creating my own relaxation package here at The Beach Samui hotel, where people will be able to book a week-long holiday, curated by me, with experiences such as sound baths and yoga sessions.

"The hotel is opening up a new retreat and my plan is to regularly come over and work on the collaboration.

"My dream, when the kids are older, is to live out here full-time. I've been really healthy here - although I did have a Guinness on St Patrick's Day."

Kerry - who has five children from her three previous marriages - previously went to Thailand on a "healing journey" following her split from fiance Ryan Mahoney in November 2024.

During her vacation, she "learnt so much" about herself, and came to a welcome realisation about her break-up.

She added: "I've had the best time out here. I've gone through a real spiritual awakening and have learnt so much about myself.

"It's made me realise that splitting up with Ryan was the best thing to happen to me. "I'm over that chapter of my life and when I think about him there is nothing romantic there any more."
