Dua Lipa is "happier than ever" since she got engaged to Callum Turner and admits she has been "intensely falling" more and more in love with him

The One Kiss singer began a relationship with the Masters of the Air actor in January 2024 and Dua announced their engagement in July 2025

Dua, 29, has now given an interview with Harper's BAZAAR magazine's global ICONS Issue sharing her happiness with Callum, 35, after years of being guarded about her emotions.

Discussing their relationship, she said: 'I love love. It is a beautiful thing. It's a really inspiring thing. You find yourself so intensely falling all the time in the best way possible. That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it.

"I've spent a lot of time being guarded or protecting my heart, and so I'm letting go of that feeling and just being like, 'Okay, if I'm supposed to get hurt, then this is what's going to happen.' I have to just allow love."

Dua - who was photographed by Anthony Seklaoui for Harper's BAZAAR - was asked how it feels to be speaking so candidly about her relationship, to which she replied: "I'm happier than ever, so it feels like I'm doing a disservice by not talking about it.

"When you're a public person, anything that's very personal is very vulnerable. It's not like I don't want to share it."

Elsewhere in her Harper's BAZAAR interview, Dua spoke about how she believes that what she writes about in her songs comes true and so she ensures that she spreads positive energy in her music.

She said: "I have this firm belief that whatever I write comes true. So I'm always very, very cautious about the things that I write. I'm not trying to put some crazy energy into the world. I'm trying to just be light and have fun and share my experiences."

Detailing how she feels when she performs live, she added: "There's a moment when I go out into the crowd and that part of me is not the same person that I am when I'm just, like, singing and performing and dancing. When I'm singing the songs, I feel really powerful. The rooms get bigger. I want to make big spaces feel small."

Harper's BAZAAR has unveiled their global ICONS Issue, featuring Dua Lipa, Kate Moss, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Karina, across 21 BAZAAR editions worldwide.

Dua Lipa covers Harper's BAZAAR US and Kate Moss and Adèle Exarchopoulos appear on Harper's BAZAAR France, while Karina covers Harper's BAZAAR Korea.

The ICONS cover stars will also appear across other editions of BAZAAR worldwide, including Japan, China, Italy, UK, Middle East, Germany Australia, Greece, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, Vietnam and Ukraine.

The Harper's BAZAAR UK's OCTOBER ICONS 2025 issue will be hitting newsstands on the 4th September.
