Liam Gallagher has dedicated Oasis track Stand By Me to his older brother Paul Gallagher

He pleaded not guilty to rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

According to the charge sheet, the alleged offences occurred between 2022 and 2024.

Oasis have returned to the UK for two final shows at Wembley as part of their Live '25 tour, before continuing to Japan, South Korea, Australia and South America.

The concerts mark the first time the band have reunited for a tour since their split in 2009.

The Gallagher brothers arrived on stage hand-in-hand on Saturday, with Liam carrying a maraca, and opened the set with Hello, the first track from their 1995 album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?.

Liam greeted the Wembley crowd, asking: "Have you missed us?" before launching into a run of anthems including Some Might Say, Morning Glory and Roll With It.

The singer paused mid-set to dedicate a song to his brother Paul.

Liam said: "I want to dedicate this one to Paul Gallagher," before beginning Stand By Me, a track from Oasis's 1997 album Be Here Now.

Oasis announced their reunion tour in August 2024, 16 years after Noel Gallagher, 58, walked away from the group following a backstage fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

The band also paid tribute to former world champion boxer Ricky Hatton, who died earlier this month aged 46.

As they performed Live Forever from their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe, an image of the late boxer was projected onto the stage screen, drawing cheers from the crowd.

The show closed with three of the band's most recognisable hits - Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.

Before the final number, Liam addressed the Wembley audience, saying: "Thank you for keeping the faith. See you next year."
