Bad Bunny reclaims top Spotify artist title with over 19.8 billion streams

For the fourth time, Bad Bunny has become Spotify's most streamed global artist, beating Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and others with his 2025 album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS topping charts.

Spotify Wrapped has crowned Bad Bunny as the platform's top global artist for 2025, a title he previously held in 2020, 2021, and 2022. With over 19.8 billion streams this year, he surpassed runner-up Taylor Swift, followed by The Weeknd, Drake, and Billie Eilish. Bunny's album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS also topped the global album chart, with the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and releases by Billie Eilish, SZA, and others rounding out the top ten. His previous hit Un Verano Sin Ti also returned to the top 10. Spotify has honoured his achievement with various fan experiences and digital easter eggs. Bunny, 31, is also set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2026 and has vowed to showcase Puerto Rican music and culture. "I'm just going to the stage to enjoy and have fun," he told Apple Music's Zane Lowe. "I'm excited about everything, not just for me, but for Puerto Rico and Latinos around the world."
