    New Zealand test wicketkeeper BJ Watling's looking forward to having the best view of Ajaz Patel bowling


    The left-arm orthodox is the only specialist spinner in the Black Caps squad for the two-test cricket series against India starting Friday in Wellington.

    Despite the assumption Patel turns the ball more than Mitchell Santner, who he's replaced in the squad, Watling thinks that's pitch-dependent.



    Curiously, the last New Zealand spinner to take a five-wicket bag at home was Jeetan Patel against the West Indies at Napier in December 2008.
