    Rocket Lab on the verge of listing on the US NASDAQ index, in a deal valuing the startup at 5.7 billion dollars

    Rocket Lab is on the verge of listing on the US technology based NASDAQ index, in a deal that values the New Zealand-US startup at 5.7 billion dollars


    It would make the space company one of New Zealand's biggest companies by capitalisation.

    The decision to list on the Nasdaq exchange is a blow for the local NZX exchange

    Rocket Lab is one of a cluster of spaceflight operators jostling for global market share in the smaller-launch market.
